Today Shooting Stars bubble have continued their learning about Africa.  We learnt about the famous African artist Anna Woodsey Thomas and imitated her style of painting by creating representations of our own.  We also enjoyed some free painting time and painted pictures of our own choice.  We listened to the ‘We’re Going on a Lion Hunt’ story and looked at and discussed a powerpoint all about lions to learn facts and information about them.  We then went on to colour in a lion themed mindfulness colouring sheet, but will learn about lions even more tomorrow.  We completed some safari themed writing, we also enjoyed participating in a safari themed Cosmic Kids yoga session and some maths songs and dancing through watching Super Movers
