Year 3 have been learning about trees this half term and have an important message they wish to spread.
They have learnt about the deforestation which is happening in large parts of the world, and were shocked that this leaves animals without suitable homes. Year 3 are young activists and knew they needed to do everything they could to make a change, so they got straight to work.
They made themselves placards and staged their own protest in the playground and outside Mr Fowler's office. But they still didn't feel as though they had done enough!
Today they have written letters to the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, to ask him to support their cause and speak to other World Leaders to ask them to do help make a change too. They will be sending these by post to Downing Street, and are waiting to find out if Mr Johnson replies.
