On Friday 24th September, we celebrated European Languages Day.
It was lovely to see so many of our children dressed in the colours representing their country and was a delight to see the enthusiasm they had towards their learning.
The Reception children enjoyed finding Italy on the world map, engaged with a PowerPoint finding out facts and information about Italy, created a flag, decorated football kits and made their own pizza.
Year 1 enjoyed learning all about Spain, did the register in Spanish, made the flag using maths equipment, finding Spain on the map, learning about the festival La Tomatina and practising our Flamenco dancing.
Year 3 enjoyed learning about Bulgaria. 3B used the TASC wheel approach to research Bulgaria and present their findings.
Year 4 enjoyed learning about France. They researched the country and made posters to share. They also tried some authentic French food.
