On Thursday, 3B took part in a very exciting Ancient Egyptian workshop.
The workshop was led by a man called Tony who taught us lots of facts about Gods/Goddesses and Pharaohs. We took part in a quiz and won some cool papyrus paper and A3 posters. Then two children were chosen to dress up as pharaohs so they got to wear costumes and makeup. We also got to smell some frankincense; it was so much fun.
After break, we learnt all about hieroglyphics and practised writing our name on papyrus paper.
In the afternoon, we each made an artefact and painted it using colours to match the real objects.
Overall, we had an fantastic day and learnt lots, have a look at our amazing pictures!
