As part of our recent careers fair week, the nursery children were visited by Mr Smith the electrician. Mr Smith described the job that he does and why it is important. The children also learnt lots of facts and information about electricity.

As learning about the number 1 in maths time, the nursery children have enjoyed creating the number 1 Number Block character to explore a different representation of the number 1.
Linked to learning of the winter time, the nursery children have enjoyed creating representations of snowmen using the playdough and loose parts.
The nursery children have taken their maths learning outside this week when practising writing the number 1 in the wintery glitter.
