Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us fundraise here at Oasis Academy Clarksfield. Here are just a few tasters of the hard work that has been put in and the fantastic results we've achieved.

World Kindness Day

A very lovely and thoughtful gift from some Year 7 pupils from Westwood High Islamic Girls School. They made a hamper as part of their project for World Kindness Day to say thank you to the dedicated and passionate staff at Oasis Academy Clarksfield.

Mr T comes to Clarksfield

Thank you to the Mayor of Oldham for visiting Oasis Academy Clarksfield. As a school community, we raised £185.00 for the Mayor's appeal. Yet again, another great example of the children, parents and whole school community working together to raise money for local causes.

Natural Disasters

The children in 4RS sold raffle tickets to raise money for the people affected by the string of natural disasters in Indonesia. They raised £78.11 and the winning ticket received a lovely hamper.

Children in Need – Money Raised

We are pleased to announce that from donations for coming into school dressed in pyjamas or spots fancy dress, we have raised... DRUM ROLL PLEASE... over £500.00 for CHILDREN IN NEED! What a fantastic achievement from everyone in school!

Poppy Sales

Thank you to children and families who have supported the poppy appeal by donating money for a poppy to wear in remembrance of those who have given so much for the freedom we enjoy and take for granted.  Oasis Academy Clarksfield's thoughts also go out to all families affected by conflicts, present and past.

Minute Silence on Wednesday

On Friday, the children and staff of Oasis Academy Clarksfield undertook the national minute’s silence to commemorate the bravery of those who lost their lives or fought and survived to preserve the rights and freedoms afforded to us today in Britain.  The children were very thoughtful and sensible without exception, once again, showing their wonderful values.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Once again, the generosity of the school community has been brought to light!  A huge thank you to ALL the children, parents and staff who donated biscuits, cakes, fruit and refreshments in support of the Macmillan Nurses cancer support coffee morning.   Your generous cash donations have meant that the school has been able to raise £190.12.

Another wonderful example of a superb team effort!
