Nursery (Little Owls)

Welcome to Little Owls Nursery - 
“Growing wise together”.

Wishing you a very warm welcome from our Nursery team. It is our aim to create an engaging and nurturing environment for your child, where they can explore the world, discover, and learn, growing wise together as little owls. We have committed and skilled staff who are passionate about children and their learning. We promote high quality learning opportunities for all our children. Working in partnership with you, your child will be guided through their emotional, social and physical development preparing them for primary school, in a play-led exciting environment.

Session Times

Nursery AM sessions are Monday to Friday: 8.45-11.45 am.

Nursery PM sessions are Monday to Friday: 12.30- 3.10pm.

We have places available in our warm, welcoming and exciting Nursery class ‘Little Owls’. We have a brand new and stimulating learning environment, where your child can learn through their play, both indoors and outdoors. You can book whatever session suits you via the main school office.

Start Dates

The children start at the nursery in a small group, which enables staff to really support them to make relationships and helps them to learn the new routines and expectations with us. Many of our children start in September but we also admit children in January and April. We value every child for their individuality and know that each child will settle into the nursery in their own way, so we work closely together to ensure a smooth transition.

Staffing and parental communication

We have a highly skilled teacher and a TA working full time in our Nursery. We want our parents and carers to feel in the loop when it comes to their child's education, therefore each week we make sure what is taught within our classroom is available online through Tapestry.
