Academy Day

Our school day begins at 8.50 am. Please ensure that children are on time as the gates are promptly closed.

Academy opening hours:

Nursery AM - 8.50am - 11.50am

Nursery PM - 12:20 - 3:20pm

Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 - 8.50am - 3.10pm - Total time per week: 31hr 40m

Morning routine

Nursery and Reception 

Children enter school through the Foundation Stage playground.

Key Stage 1 and 2

Children are to enter via the 2 entrances on the main playground. The doors are open from 8.40am and children can enter school as soon as they arrive. The doors close at 9.00am after which children are to enter via the schools main entrance and be recorded as late  

Lunchtime

EYFS and KS1 - Lunch is from 11:30am until 12:30pm

Key Stage 2 - Lunch is from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm.

Home time

The school day ends at 3.10pm. Please be on time to collect your child from the playground.

Key Stage 1 and 2 children will be brought to the playground by their teacher at 3:10pm ready to be collected. They will not be allowed to leave unless they are collected by a recognised adult, unless permission has been given for them to walk home alone (Year 6 only).

Any child that has not be collected by 3:20pm will be escorted to the main office by a member of staff where parents will then need to sign their child out providing a reason for the late collection.
